Apple AirTags may launch as early as next month, says a tipster named Jon Prosser. The news comes a month after popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the AirTags are on track for launch sometime in 2021.
“AirTags are still on for March…Haven’t heard of any further delays this time,” wrote Jon Prosser in a post on Twitter. In a follow up tweet, he said the launch of the new iPad Pro is also expected to be scheduled for March 2021.
The device will compete directly with Tile trackers. The device is said to work with Find My app available on Apple iPhone, iPad and Mac laptops.
Apple AirTags have been making headlines for over a year now. However, nothing much has materialised and the rumoured device is yet to be officially launched.
Samsung has already launched its tracking device called the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag in January this year along with Galaxy S21 series phones.
As far as the iPad Pro (2021) model is concerned, it is expected that the 12.9-inch variant may come with mini-LED backlighting. This will eventually be followed by the 11-inch model of the new iPad Pro. The 2021 model of iPad Pro is expected to feature a similar design as its predecessors. But they are said to be powered by A14 Bionic chipset.
